Jennifer Schaus has over ten years experience in helping domestic and foreign companies contract with the US federal government and state entities. Ms. Schaus specializes in helping security, defense and technology related clients get on the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule, assist them in identifying contract opportunities and helping them secure successful bids.
After September 11, 2001, there was a significant increase in companies obtaining GSA contracts under Schedule 84, Security & Law Enforcement solutions. Focusing on these trends, Jennifer Schaus successfully sold, and continues to work with a variety of security companies to provide access control and identity verification tools for both government and commercial entities. She is well versed in direct sales to the end user, forging partnerships with system integrators, as well as identifying and assembling smaller related companies to provide a panoptic solution. Ms. Schaus is accomplished in establishing GSA contracts - the integral contracting tool that businesses use to make their products and services available to the Government.
Ms. Schaus's prior experience includes working for Dun & Bradstreet Corporation's Government Sales Division where she was responsible for assisting clients navigate the complexities of selling to the government. Her customers included mostly investigative agencies who leverage data to uncover money laundering, white collar criminal activities & other illegal transactions. Additional clients included state/local governments, quasi-government agencies, multi-lateral banks and non-profit organizations. These organizations used database information for conducting due-diligence on vendors and for marketing applications. She also spent several years working in the telecom industry (AT&T and MCI) in sales & project management roles.
A graduate of Towson State University, Ms. Schaus leads Jennifer Schaus & Associates in Washington, DC. In addition to helping companies obtain government contracts, she helps clients find venture capital. In this role, she strives to match growth companies in need of non-traditional funding with appropriate financial resources.
